The reason this exists is because every time we watch Parks and Recreation we sing "Jabba the Hutt" along with the theme. So naturally we had to make this video.

It deeply saddens me to know that we no longer live in a world where this kind of thing would air on television. I don't know what it is exactly (or inexactly, or at all) but it is deeply saddening nonetheless. The scene is Italy, 1979. Disco is either thriving or dying depending on who you ask, Star Wars is somehow involved, and Stefania Rotolo is giving it her all.

"I love that enough people got together and decided it was a good idea to make this," said someone who watched this video with me. "It's not like it's just one guy who's doing it, it's three people plus an entire studio."

Color us stupid, but the English accent can sometimes throw us for a loop. Like, there are just some words that, when spoken in a lovely British lilt, make one sound like one has been caught mid-sentence while going to town on a jellybean casserole.

We love fish and chips just as much as the next Anglophile, but our brains are so racked by this commercial for Tudor Rose windows and flooring, we feel like there's something wrong with us. And Urlesque readers across the pond will likely wag their bloody fingers at me for this, but here's my question: is Tudor Rose supposed to sound like "Chew-dure Yoz"? WHO IS IN CHARGE HERE?

(Also, good luck getting that jingle out of your head, by the way. Tudor Rose is the new Ke$ha!) (Or is it "Kay-zjha"?)
